What is included in the Lifetime Parts and Labor Warranty? Everything inside the box is from the manufacturer. 

5-Year Lemon Guarantee*

Air Conditioners/Heat Pumps: If the compressor fails within five (5) years of installation, Coolray will replace the entire outdoor unit at no cost.

Coverage includes: new outdoor unit of equal value, all labor to install new unit, all manufacturer charges, fees, and freight, all permits and taxes. Warranty applies to all condensing units but excludes "package" unit systems (ie, outdoor units with duct systems directly attached that do not utilize furnace or air handler).

Gas Furnaces: If the heat exchanger fails within (5) five years of installation, Coolray will replace the entire furnace at no cost.

Coverage includes: New furnace of equal value, all labor to install the new furnace, all manufacturer charges, fees, and freight, all permits and taxes, warranty applies to all indoor gas units.

5-Year Performance Guarantee*

If your new comfort system fails to keep you comfortable up to (5) years after installation, Coolray will make unlimited attempts to resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve the issue up to and including removing your new comfort system and refunding 100% of the purchase price.

2-Year Money Back Guarantee*

If you are not satisfied with Coolray and or your new comfort system for any reason within (2) two years of installation, Coolray will make unlimited attempts to resolve the issue up to and including removing your new comfort system and refunding 100% of the purchase price.

Can homeowners transfer the Lifetime Warranty?

Lifetime warranty is transferable to new owners should you sell your property (Lemon, Money Back and Performance guarantees not included). To transfer this warranty, mail a written request (identifying the successor owner), a copy of the original receipt or work order and a transfer fee of $250.00 to Coolray Heating and Cooling Inc, 1787 Williams Drive, Marietta, Georgia, 30066. The new homeowner has 30 days from the date of the home's purchase to transfer the warranty of equipment.

What is the owners responsibility for Lifetime Warranty?

1. Operate equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and maintain items normally to be periodically replaced by the equipment owner during the product life such as filters, uv lamps, humidifier pads, batteries and other items as listed in the owners use and care manual.
2. All service and repairs not covered by our warranty.
3. Coolray will assume no responsibility for repairs made by unauthorized service provider.
4. To perform annual routine maintenance by a qualified service provider.
5. Report all service issues promptly.
6. Customer is to maintain a maintenance agreement on the equipment with Coolray or company of your choice. Annual maintenance is necessary on your comfort system(s) and can be performed by any qualified service company. We recommend that you use only Carrier Factory Authorized service providers. Failure to perform annual maintenance or improperly performed maintenance will void the Lifetime Warranty.
